Pichler Consulting is an independent management consultancy specialised in Scrum and agile product management. Founder and director Roman Pichler is a leading Scrum expert and Certified Scrum Trainer. He is the author of the bestselling Scrum book in Germany called Scrum—Agiles Projektmanagement erfolgreich einsetzen ("Scrum—Applying Agile Project Management Successfully"). His new book Agile Product Management with Scrum is the product owner's guide to developing successful products with Scrum. It is also the first book solely devoted to agile product management. Roman has nearly ten years experience in helping companies transition to agile, and he has guided Scrum roll-outs in several companies. Roman has worked with product owners and agile product managers for a decade, and he has more than five years experience in teaching and coaching Scrum Product Owners and ScrumMasters. Roman is the founder of the London Scrum User Group, an active contributor to the Scrum Alliance, and a regular speaker at international conferences. He is based near London in Wendover, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom. Roman speaks English and German.
When Roman is not busy working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, or he rides his bikes in the local hills. Roman is a keen mountain biker and road cyclist.
